I haven't done one of these in years, but I liked it, soooo.....MEME TIME!

TV Game meme
Go to imdb.com and list three of the "official keywords" for 10 of your favorite TV shows. Then have your friends guess the titles. No cheating and searching imdb yourself!

1) Rape, Dead Girl, Neo Noir
2) Crush, Dyed Hair, Narration
3) Bully, Grateful Dead, Dungeons And Dragons
4) Magician, Incestuous Desire, Investment Scandal
5) Campfire, Supernatural, Storyteller
6) Love Story, Impalement, Made for Cable TV
7) Rivalry, Cheerleaders, Science Teacher
8) Tabasco Sauce, Conspiracy, Healing Gift
9) Satire, Downsizing, Prank
10) Sarcasm, Character Name In Title, Pill

These other keywords for Number 6 were too hilarious not to post. In order:

Stabbed In The Throat
Stabbed In The Head
Stabbed In The Eye
Stabbed In The Back
Severed Leg
Severed Head
Severed Arm
Severed Finger
Romance

People that go to Grindhouse and don't realize that it is two movies/supposed to be scratched/campyfantastic/isn't actuallyactually missing reels makes me really, really sad.

Seriously, do people just go to theaters, throw darts at the time board, and randomly go into movies without knowing what they are about?

Today has been a good day.

I got my hair cut, and it is fantastic.
I had Wind, and it was fantastic.
I am about to buy many books at the new book place, and it is fantastic.

AND, best of all, I got fantastic presents and a fantastic frozen custard cake because today is my birfday. :) Woo, 23!

Did he string a wheelchair on his kite?

lololol, what?

Not that having a presidential action figure isn't loltastic enough...but one who, apparently, has an identity crisis? Fantastic.
The guest reviews make it even better.

Ok, where the fuck was I when Lexington Green started playing good movies?

Both Hard Candy and Lady Vengeance (LADY FUCKING VENGEANCE!) are playing there this week. And no blockbusters in sight. They've totally changed what kind of movies they play. I know it's dorky, but I'm really excited about this. Am I the last of the Lexingtonians to notice this?

I'll post later about my new apartment. And temporary roommate. And whatnot and soforth.

Edit: Ok, so apparently the new "Art House" version of Lexington Green happened a month ago. Still excited even though I am obviously behind.

NO WIRE HANGERS EVERRRRR!

So I just noticed that they are making Atonement into a movie. This does not please me.

And Keira Knightly is playing Cecilia. This pleases me even less.

:(

Buuut, IMDB lists Betty White and Rue McClanahan under cast as well. So there's a little silver lining. Even though, knowing IMDB, it's probably nothing but bullshit.

EDIT: OMGDKSJKLDAJ1! Mr. Tumnus is playing Robbie.

Dear Nintendo, you are now forgiven for the ridiculous name. JUST THIS ONCE!

THANK ALL THAT IS GOOD!
Nintendo has revealed the trailer for the Wii's new Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Behold!

Pit, Metaknight, Wario, SexySamus and Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake?! In a box!?! OH HAY SPLOOGE!
I need this now.

And Daniel, I don't care where you are living when this comes out. WE ARE PLAYING THIS UNTIL THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO PLAY. Deal?

The random Nintendog is also very loltastic.

This is almost as juvenile as my love of Wii jokes

So, I look up from my computer and the first thing I see is some skinny dude, in a towel, standing next to a sign that says "DOUCHE" with an arrow.*

I am so easily amused.

On a related note, I graduate Sunday. !!! WOOOOO !!!

(*And yes, it was a french film. And yes, it was a sign for a sauna. And yes, I am still amused.)

Jeremy cracks me up sometimes.

This was right in the middle of his conversation with his twin brother Jason on the phone:

Jeremy: Oh, hey. When Corey and I saw Silent Hill there was someone in the theater that looked exactly like you.

PhoneJason:...oh, really?

Jeremy: Yeah... .... ...It was me.

Corey: *dies*

Something else I find funny: Predator. In general.
(Jeremy: "They should have named it Predator v. The State of California")

Also, Veronica Mars moves to Tuesdays tonight. Woo!

Until then, Kingdom Hearts. Which you all should be playing.

First of all... if you like V for Vendetta, Movies in 15 Minutes, or mayhaps BOTH I would suggest taking a look at this:

SHIT: *goes down*

my personal favorite )

In other news: OMGKINGDOMHEARTSTWO
I love having that one game that you can be so intensely into for however long. Nothing is more awesome than Jeremy and I hunkering down for the night to play games together.
...well playing games with Jeremy and having my ice shaver not go spastic and shoot shaved plastic into my drink and then dying would actually be the most awesome. But that will be taken care of soon. Then complete awesomeness.

I really wish I didn't have to go to class. :( But if I have any hope of graduating, I must.
Speaking of which, I got my announcements + cap and gown today. This is craziness.

POETRY FTW!

Victory is mine!

After years of searching for one freaking poem, I have finally found it! I read it senior year in AP English Lit and was thoroughly amused. I even knew who wrote it! But years of google searches and book flipping resulted in nothing. UNTIL TONIGHT!

Just for shits and giggles I typed in "Neighbors go" and "Paul Dunbar" expecting to find the usual nothing...BUT THERE IT WAS! On a random blog, no less.

So here it is, so that I may never lose it again!

Theology

There is a heaven, for ever, day by day,
The upward longing of my soul doth tell me so,
There is a hell, I'm quite as sure; for pray,
If there were not, where would my neighbors go?

-P.L. Dunbar

Take that home. Chew on it. It's delicious.

So we've pretty much found the perfect apartment.
It's so awesome, we want to move in right this minute.

It is in a quiet area with a pond and acres of wooded area to walk around in. And the apartment itself is fantastic (1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, den, washer, dryer, dishwasher, balcony, sliding glass doors, private patio, cathedral ceilings, fireplace, lots of closet space, 987 sq. feet). I love everything about it. It is twice the size of our current apartment (not to mention better maintained/constructed and in a better location) but for only $150 more a month.

I've been squealing like a schoolgirl just thinking about it. I've already started to decorate it in my mind and we're looking to see if there's anyway we can move out of our current apartment early.

*dances*

Oh, and we need a new couch for cheap. So if anyone knows where we can get a nice couch for under 300, we would be forever grateful.

Also, I hacked off all my hair again. I can't stop touching the back...it's so short. Loves it.

Cue the Imperial March, por favor?

Wh...wh..what is this thing? You call livejournal?
I'M BACK BITCHES! Well, at least for one post.

Also lol @ "Corey: The Whiny Emotional Freshman Years".

I'm back looking at apartments and getting really excited. Since I'll be graduating this year (KJEHFIOEHDIJ!OIJ!KJWBDROIEWOIHNDSJKBI!!!??!??!KDFJIOEOHNEFJNWTF!?) we are looking at places farther from campus...therefore nicer places at better prices. Then, next semester Jeremy graduates and after that who knows where the hell we'll be. Maybe Tulsa, maybe Ft. Thomas, definitely where ever we can find jobs.

Why am I still awake?

Well, this in-depth post has just worn me out. To bed!

EDIT: lol x2 at livejournal spellcheck correcting my graduation yell to "COCKFIGHTING!" and "GIGANTIC COCKFIGHTS"
